Deepti is the Founder/Director of Sunshine Foundation. She did her schooling from St. Josephs Convent, Nagpur and her Masters in Social Work (Medical Psychiatry) and Montessori Teacher training from Nagpur University. She started Sunshine Foundation when she realized that children need more than just food and cloths, after spending a lot of time with underprivileged children she developed a module called “Sunshine Kids” that addressed five major aspect of a child’s life mainly – Cognitive Development, Emotional Development, Social Development, Physical Development, Environmental Development.

She started with 50 children in one center in 2007. After seeing the improvement in children and how well they received the program, she registered Sunshine Foundation in 2009. Now Sunshine Foundation works with children in and around Nagpur.

Sunshine has grown with the support of friends and volunteers. It is a Ray of Hope to many deprived children living in darkness. She is a person who believes in living her dreams of uplifting the Children living in some of the most unfit places in the community and honestly believes in realizing the dreams of these down trodden children. She never leaves any stone unturned to reach the vicinal goals of her foundation and always takes the extra mile in providing every child at SunShine a normal Childhood and showing the right way to a successful life of every Child. She also believes in providing the basic amenities to the families of these kids. Her hard work and determined work can be seen through the eyes of some kids who have successfully made it to the College and have finished their academic excellences. She has been Awarded-
